EMV METRO TEAM TRYOUTS 2024-2025
What is an EMV Metro Team?
A Metro team is the perfect alternative for multi-sport athletes, and athletes with less time to commit solely to volleyball They recieve the same high-level club training without the time commitment required of a typical club volleyball team
Practices: 1 day per week on Sundays
Tournaments: 1-Day Saturday Tournaments spread from December-late March as well as one 2-day tournament

What age group should my player attend?
18 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
15 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
14 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
13 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
11 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013
10 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2014
17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008

When can players receive offers to play for an EMV team?
Players can receive a verbal non-binding offer to player for Eagle Mountain Volleyball Club on May 6th after the conclusion of NTR Bid regionals.
When are Tryouts?
Official open tryouts to players begin July 8th. This is technically known as the "Evaluation Window" for the upcoming USAV season. This window lasts until the Acceptance Date for your age group. Acceptance Day for all ages is July 16th.
What Are Evaluation Clinics?
These are clinics held during the official evaluation window set by North Texas Region Volleyball. These events serve the purpose of evaluating athletes for next seasons teams. Non-binding verbal offers for specific teams can be extended to ALL players and parents during these events regardless of last seasons club affiliation. Current EMV players are able to attend "in house" evaluation clinics during the month of June and receive offers for the upcoming season.
When Can I Officially Sign With EMV?
ACCEPTANCE DATE July 16, 2024
Club Directors may make binding offers and may accept any forms of payment on the Acceptance Date.
Tryouts will begin on July 13, 2024 for ALL age groups. Tryouts will continue through July 10, 2023.
The Acceptance Date for ALL age groups is July 16, 2024. This is the first date that you can officially receive and accept an offer from a club. All offers will be sent through the on-line OCS Offer System, which will send an email offer to players on the morning of July 16, 2024.
What Types Of Teams Do We Offer?
We offer multiple levels of teams for the upcoming Club season.
Team Classifications include:
National Black / Royal teams - top teams that travel to out of state national qualifiers with the goal being to qualify for nationals. Volleyball primary sport.
Regional Black / Royal / White teams - regional teams that play in NTR bid qualifiers as well as other local tourneys with the opportunity to still qualify for nationals
Metro teams - local regional teams that play in local 1 day tourneys - Tryouts for these teams will be held in August, September and October.
