EMV Beach Junior Beach Volleyball Program
Spring Season: March 24 – May 1 Our beach program is open to girls and boys ages 10-18. During the 6-week spring program we focus on individual skill development, learning the game, and preparing for competition. Advanced players will also learn strategies that will help them win. Players are not required to sign up with a partner, however, they may do so if they wish. EMV Beach does not hold tryouts for the Junior Beach Program. During the last 2 weeks of the program, we will have optional Queen Of The Beach tournaments on Thursday nights where players can put what they’ve learned into practice, cost is only $10/player! PRACTICES We will offer two practices per week; you choose when to attend:

PARTNERS: Players choose their own partners, so players that register with a partner have the option to play with that person or choose from any of the other players in our program. Players that come in as an individual will need to promote themselves and be open to asking other players to partner with. We can help match up available players, based on their skill level and what events they can play in. Coaches will help facilitate available partnerships, but it is up to each player to secure a partner for each tournament. CONTACT Abbi Randle – Director – EMV Beach Volleyball 2163 Golden Heights Rd. Meet the EMV Beach Coaches
Tavis Starkey Head beach coach I have played indoor volleyball for over 30 years and sand for 5 years. I’m still playing til this day. I’ve been coaching indoor volleyball for 20 years and qualified a 13U and 16U team to nationals the past two seasons. I ran a very successful beach training and tournament program at the last club I worked with. I enjoy teaching volleyball and watching kids grow and develop their skills. |
Nadia Brockway Beach Coach My name is Nadia Brockway and at 9 years old, I tried out volleyball for the first time. I fell in love with the game and played my first club season my 11s year. I graduated from V.R. Eaton High School to play indoor volleyball at Central Christian College of Kansas. As time went on, I found a new love for the game… Beach volleyball. I currently attend East Texas Baptist University as a junior studying business management/marketing. I am the captain of our beach program here at ETBU. We were super successful this year and brought home fourth place at AVCA Nationals. |
