Junior Beach Volleyball Program
Spring Season: March 22-April 28
EMV Beach is dedicated to developing young athletes and promoting an active, healthy, and balanced lifestyle with a focus on family, academics, and sports. The EMV Beach Junior Beach Volleyball Program is designed to promote the game of beach volleyball and help players reach their goals by training hard, smart and strategically. Beach volleyball is a fun sport that will drastically improve your knowledge of the game, ability to read the play, eye work, and court vision. The different components of beach volleyball are also an excellent way to improve your skills for indoor volleyball. With the elevation of the beach game internationally, in college, and in juniors programs, many more opportunities have opened up for beach volleyball players. There are now more than 90 colleges across the nation with beach volleyball programs as the sport continues to grow.
Our beach program is open to girls and boys ages 12-18. During the 6 week spring program we focus on individual skill development, learning the game, and preparing for tournament competition. Advanced players will also learn strategies that will help them win. Players are not required to sign up with a partner, however they may do so if they wish. EMV Beach does not hold tryouts for the Junior Beach Program.

I have played indoor volleyball for over 30 years and sand for 5 years. I’m still playing til this day. I’ve been coaching indoor volleyball for 20 years and qualified a 13U and 16U team to nationals the past two seasons. I ran a very successful beach training and tournament program at the last club I worked with. I enjoy teaching volleyball and watching kids grow and develop their skills.

I have been playing indoor and sand volleyball for 9 years. I have coached for EMV for 3 years, most recently as an assistant on a top 13s team. I qualified for AAU Beach Nationals twice, once at 14 and once at 16. I am very excited to coach sand and share my love for the game!
