She coached volleyball and basketball at a private school for three years while graduating from Texas A&M University. Coach Emily has been part of the Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD family for nine years serving as a PE teacher and helping assist volleyball teams throughout the district. She has coached several ages of players ranging from 12U-15U. Coach Emily has coached with Attack, TNT and EMV. She is thrilled to return to EMV in coaching 13s Black.
Coach Brennon grew up loving the game of volleyball. Throughout the years she was trained as a middle blocker, outside hitter and defensive specialist (now considered Libero). Her experience includes playing 6 years of club volleyball in Amarillo, Texas. While playing for Amarillo High School, she helped take her team to the state 5A playoffs multiple times. She was a State Runner-Up in 1997 and an undefeated State Champion in 1998. After graduation and what could have been a career ending injury, she played two seasons for Cameron University. During her freshman year at Cameron, Brennon earned a spot in the NCAA Division II record book for service aces. She then finished her college education at Texas Tech University, graduating with bachelor degrees in Finance and Accounting. Brennon coached club for Velocity Volleyball in the 2004-2005 season before staying home with her children. Between her daughters' teams she has coached nine seasons in the Haslet, Roanoke and Southlake volleyball leagues. She returned to club with EMV and has coached here for two years. First for 12 Blue, and then 12 Black last season where they earned a bid to the Regional Qualifying Tournament. Brennon is excited to return for another club season!
